The Pretty Reckless is an American rock band from New York City, formed in 2009, fronted by singer Taylor Momsen. The band is known for its powerful and edgy sound, blending hard rock, alternative rock, post-grunge, blues rock, and grunge with heavy guitar riffs and Momsen's raw vocals. They have achieved notable success, becoming the first female-fronted band to have seven singles top Billboard's Mainstream Rock chart. In their latest endeavors, the band has been in the studio since January 2024, working on their fifth album, which is expected to be released in 2025. They released a new single titled "For I Am Death" on August 22, 2025, which is anticipated to be the lead single from this upcoming album. The Pretty Reckless also supported AC/DC on their Power Up European tour and The Rolling Stones in May 2024. Additionally, they released a holiday EP, "Taylor Momsen's Pretty Reckless Christmas," on October 31, 2025, featuring a reimagined version of "Where Are You Christmas?".
