The Jazzual Suspects is a labor of love of musician/producer Charlie Tate, a man responsible for well-known Om-Records stalwarts King Kooba and Colossus. The love of the old school golden era of funky breaks, jazz and soul influenced hip-hop is obvious. “In some respects, Mark Farina’s Mushroom Jazz series was the catalyst for this project” says Charlie.
