Elf Traps is a Manchester-based jazz and electronic duo comprised of Rob Turner, formerly the drummer for GoGo Penguin, and Liviu Gheorghe. They are known for their complex synth-routed and mechanized robotic percussion, blending genres like jazztronica, electronic jazz, and IDM. Their recent endeavors include the release of their "Blop" EP, and they have upcoming performances in cities such as Berlin, Dortmund, Bucharest, and Istanbul. Their latest singles, "Metrognome" and "Sunflowers in a Blue Sky," were released in 2025.
