Pyx Lax is a highly successful Greek rock band, formed in Athens in 1989. Known for their blend of entehno and laïko genres, they achieved critical and commercial success in the Greek music industry for fifteen years before disbanding in 2004. They reunited in 2011 for a tour honoring their late founding member, Manos Xydous, and permanently reformed in 2018. The band, consisting of Filippos Pliatsikas and Babis Stokas, is considered one of the most commercially successful groups in Greek discography, boasting three gold and five platinum albums. Their discography includes major hits such as "De Tha Dakryso Pia Gia Sena," "Ti Ine Afto Pou Mas Enoni?", and "Mia Synousia Mystiki". Pyx Lax has also collaborated with international artists like Sting, Eric Burdon, Gordon Gano, Marc Almond, and Steve Wynn. The band continues to perform live with great success, with upcoming concerts scheduled, including an appearance at the 89th Thessaloniki International Fair and a show in Naxos on November 8, 2025.
