About Nell Mescal

Nell Mescal is an Irish singer-songwriter known for her introspective indie pop and folk-infused music. Her lyrics often explore themes of relationships, personal growth, growing up, and the complexities of self-discovery. She chose to leave school at 17 to pursue music full-time, relocating to London to focus on her career. Her latest endeavors include the release of her second EP, 'The Closest We'll Get,' which came out on October 24, 2025, through Atlantic Records. This EP, featuring the single 'Carried Away' (released in July 2025), delves into the narrative of a relationship existing in the ambiguous space between friendship and romance. Prior to this, she released the live demo 'Thin' in April 2025, following her signing with Atlantic Records. In late 2025, Mescal supported HAIM on their UK tour and embarked on her own headline tour across the UK and Ireland. She also performed at various festivals during the summer of 2025, including Reading and Leeds. Her song "In My Head" was featured in a new season of *Heartstopper*. She also has upcoming shows in early 2026, including a performance in Berlin on March 5, 2026.
