2019 was a monumental year for West London DJ/producer mind of a dragon. MOAD released the impressive Enter The Dragon, a 24-track mixtape of entirely his own productions. Quickly racking up over 35,000 streams, the mixtape attracted attention from all corners of the electronic world. Autumn saw the West London producer move up a gear, launching Dragon Dubs – a record label with a twist. The premise was simple, and played perfectly into his restless productivity: each week MOAD released a new track – often bootlegs or DJ tools – serviced directly to fans that subscribed to Dragon Dubs. At the time of writing, the members list stands nearly 5,000 strong. On new EP garage, Mind Of A Dragon delivers his boldest statement yet. Across 6 original tracks, MOAD plants his flag firmly in the sand – showcasing a sound that brilliantly weaves together the nostalgia of classic UK Garage with cutting-edge #NUKG sonics – and shows why he’s considered one of the most talented artists operating in dance music today.
