Miles from Kinshasa is a Congo-born, London-raised artist, who also spent time in France, infusing his multicultural upbringing into a distinctive blend of UK R&B, Alté, and experimental pop. Known for his genre-bending sound, he incorporates elements of 80s synth-pop, Afrobeats, and Congolese rumba into his lively lyricism and laidback melodies. He emerged from London's grime scene, previously as part of the duo Men Among Boys, before launching his solo career around 2016. His past works include the 2017 mini-album 'Limbo' and the 2020 EP 'Beloved', which featured tracks like 'Wearing Smiles' and 'Lookin' 4 U'. In 2022, he released the mixtape 'if not now, then when', preceded by singles such as 'Glitchin''. More recently, he has continued to release new music, with singles like "Don't Push It," "No Refunds," "No Return," and "+44" in 2024, and "Reconnect," "Just My Type," "the cheating song," "Last Time," and "Ebele Riddim" in 2025. Miles from Kinshasa has performed internationally, including his first concert in France in June 2023, and his music has been featured in the series *Insecure*. He is recognized as one of the UK's most exciting underground talents.
