About Max Dean

Max Dean is a London-born DJ and producer who has rapidly emerged as a leading talent in the house music scene. Known for his groove-heavy, retro-inspired beats, swinging rhythms, bouncy drum lines, and deep, catchy basslines, he has garnered global attention since his debut release "Back To You" in 2021. Max Dean's sound blends classic house influences with an underground edge, positioning him at the forefront of the Minimal/Deep Tech genre. His career has seen him sign with esteemed labels such as Hottrax, Repopulate Mars, Eastenderz, Deeperfect, and Solid Grooves. In addition to his productions, Dean launched his own record label and event series, neXup recz, which has become Beatport's top-ranked Minimal/Deep Tech imprint. He is a frequent headliner at major venues and festivals across the UK and Europe, including DC-10 in Ibiza, Creamfields, and The Beams in London, and has shared stages with notable artists like Jamie Jones and Michael Bibi. Max Dean was also a DJ Mag 'Best of British' nominee and recognized as one of Mixmag's breakthrough DJs of 2024. In recent endeavors, Max Dean has continued his international touring, with new releases planned for 2025, including the singles "Can't Decide," "Curveball," and "The Finest EP". He recently released the standout hit “Feel Much Better” with UK rapper Nafe Smallz and iconic producer Timbaland, and a chart-topping rework of AZARI & III's classic “Reckless”. His label, neXup recz, has hosted sold-out multi-show UK tours and international events. Looking ahead, 2025 is set to be another monumental year with a 10-stop neXup recz UK tour and his third US tour. Max Dean is also scheduled to perform at the Ultra Opening Party in Derby on New Year's Eve, and has upcoming performances in Dubai, London, Amsterdam, and Miami in late 2025. He also played a back-to-back set with Hot Since 82 at the ARC Music Festival in August 2025.
