Magnum Opus II is the experimental electronic music project of German sound artist Nils Quak. His work, often described as atonal with digital drones and hushed rhythms, is created through improvisations with a modular synthesizer. Quak has been releasing music for over 25 years, operating within what has been termed the "no-audience underground" scene. His latest significant release under this moniker appears to be the album "Magnum Opus 2," which was released in May 2022 on Oxtail Recordings.
