About Looms

Looms is Sharif Mekawy (vocals, guitar), Harry Morris Jr. (guitar), A. Hammond Murray (bass), Louis Cozza (drums) and Fred Copeman (keys). The band has been a staple of Americana indie rock in Brooklyn, NY for the past decade. Their sound, an ever evolving palette of shifting landscapes of the heart, is flanked by a wall of sound of guitars, keyboards and precision drumming. They've played countless shows and collaborated with members of Wilco in the past. The new EP 'The Dogs of Doubt' is out now.
