Koye’s music centers on the vibrant melodies of Afrobeat, while seamlessly blending Gospel, R&B, Jazz, and more. His journey began over a decade ago, inspired by a live performance from award-winning saxophonist YolanDa Brown, prompting him to pick up the saxophone. In 2015, his debut headline concert sold out, earning rave reviews and featuring guests like Lagbaja, Tim Godfrey, and Beejay Sax. Since then, he has headlined global concerts in diverse venues. Through his saxophone and storytelling, he envisions a free, prosperous, and powerful Africa—his “Koye’s Africa.”Since launching his recording career in 2023, Koye has released three singles: "Darasinmi" (feat. Remii and Simidele), "To the Roots," and "Alele." He also founded and headlined AfroJazz Fest, with editions in Lagos (2023) and London and Lagos (2024). With his band, The Fortune Collective, Koye’s dedication to his craft promises to inspire global audiences as he continues to evolve.
