Jay Wheeler, born José Ángel López Martínez in Puerto Rico, is a prominent reggaeton artist celebrated for his evocative and lyrical style, smooth vocals, and captivating hooks, often blending reggaeton with ballad, pop, trap, and R&B elements. He gained widespread recognition after a viral singing video in 2016 and quickly became known for infusing his music with heart, intensity, and vulnerability. His discography includes hit songs like "La Curiosidad" featuring Myke Towers. In his latest endeavors, Wheeler released his seventh studio album, "Música Buena Para Días Malos," in April 2024, which has been hailed as one of the best Latin albums of the year.
