Fragile Animals is an Australian shoegaze and dream pop band known for their lush, melancholic sound and introspective songwriting, often describing themselves as "your gloomy pals". The Brisbane-based quartet consists of Victoria Jenkins (vocals/bass), Daniel Parkinson (guitars), Melinda Huurdeman (guitars), and Dylan Stewart (drums). The band recently released their "Tourist" EP, which deepened their sound with heavier textures and emotional clarity, following their successful 2023 album "Slow Motion Burial". Fragile Animals embarked on their first international tour in Europe in 2025 to support the "Tourist" EP, which included dates in the UK and Ireland. They have upcoming live dates in Germany in June and July 2026, including appearances at Farewell Youth Fest 2026 and Drop The Knife Fest 2026. The band is also looking forward to writing new music after their recent touring endeavors.
