Eluveitie is a Swiss folk metal band known for intricately blending melodic death metal, symphonic metal, and power metal with traditional Celtic folk music, often incorporating ancient instruments and themes. Their music is characterized by a powerful mix of heavy riffs and traditional Celtic melodies, creating a unique sound that has resonated with fans of Celtic rock, mediaeval metal, and folk. The band recently released their new album, "Ànv," on April 25, 2025, which includes singles like "Premonition," "The Prodigal Ones," and "Awen." Eluveitie has also announced an "Ánv Rising - Europe Pt I" tour set for early 2025 and a further European tour in November and December 2026, with supporting acts like Infected Rain, Ad Infinitum, Pain, and Wolfheart. The band also welcomed Lea-Sophie Fischer as their new permanent violinist.
