About the artist

Rock

Dymytry is a Czech modern metal band, often self-described as psy-core, formed in Prague in 2003. Their distinctive image features masks with insect motifs, and their sound is characterized by powerful guitar riffs, melodic choruses, and suggestive vocals. In recent endeavors, the band has seen significant changes and expansions. In 2022, they released an English version of their album "Revolter" titled "Revolt," featuring Alen "A.L." Ljubić on vocals for international audiences, alongside the album "Pharmageddon." In September 2023, their long-time vocalist Jan "Protheus" Macků departed, and Václav "Noid" Bárta was introduced as the new vocalist for their Czech performances in December 2023. Dymytry released the English-language album "Five Angry Men" in 2024 with Alen Ljubić and embarked on their first international headlining tour. Later in 2024, they also released the studio album "V Dobrým I Zlým" with Czech vocals by Noid. As of April 2025, Dymytry has officially split into two entities: Dymytry, which operates in the Czech Republic, and Dymytry Paradox, focused on the international audience. Dymytry Paradox is currently releasing a new music video "SUN OF A BROKEN GOD" on November 6, 2025, with worldwide streaming available on November 7. Meanwhile, Dymytry (the Czech band) is preparing for their largest-ever indoor tour in autumn 2025, commencing October 25 in Prague, and will also host a special weekend event called "Dymytry Sabat" on August 23, 2025.
