Би-2 is a prominent Russian-Belarusian rock band formed in the 1980s that has gained significant recognition for their music. The band has maintained an anti-war stance, specifically opposing the Russia-Ukraine war. This position has led to several challenges and changes for the group in recent years. In early 2024, the band faced detention by Thai authorities in January, with fears of deportation to Russia. Following diplomatic efforts, particularly from Israel, the band members were released and relocated to Israel. Lyova, one of the band's frontmen, was also designated as a "foreign agent" by the Russian Ministry of Justice. More recently, in February 2025, Bi-2 announced a temporary suspension of performances in several countries, including Kazakhstan, Georgia, Armenia, and Azerbaijan, due to safety concerns and cancelled concerts. Despite these challenges, the band continues to be active, having released the album "All the Best, vol. 1" in 2024, which features re-recorded versions of their major hits. They also released the single "Не зли моих ангелов" in 2024.
