BXKS is a Luton-born UK rap artist recognized for her distinctive "alternative grime" sound, which blends grime tempos with alternative music and futuristic, often gamer-inspired, beats. She is praised for her savvy production choices, incredible pen game, slick bars, and ice-cold flows, exhibiting dexterous wordplay and dulcet rap vocals. Having first gained attention in 2018/2019 with an explosive 'Next Up' Freestyle on Mixtape Madness that caught Skepta's notice, BXKS later refined her sound after initially being labeled a drill rapper. Her recent endeavors include the release of new singles in 2025: "Guestlist" in March, a club anthem featuring bruising production, and "Flashing Lights" in April, an introspective track highlighting her contemplative lyricism. In March 2024, she released the eight-track EP 'One Time', which further showcased her unique style and storytelling abilities.
