Brighter Death Now is the artist name under which Roger Karmanik, the founder of the Swedish record label Cold Meat Industry, releases death industrial, power electronics, and dark ambient music. Early recordings were largely instrumental and atmospherically oriented, while more recent releases often feature screamed and distorted vocals. Thematic elements often focus on sadism and psychosis. Karmanik closed down Cold Meat Industries around the beginning of 2014 and created his new label Familjegraven to release his own projects. In July 2024, Brighter Death Now was named as a tour support for Mortiis' North American run.
