bôa is an English alternative rock band formed in London in 1993, known for their distinctive sound that evolved from funk to indie rock. Their most notable track, "Duvet," gained significant recognition as the opening theme for the anime *Serial Experiments Lain* in 1998, and experienced a massive resurgence in popularity on TikTok, leading to over 688 million streams on Spotify and Platinum certification in North America. After an extended hiatus, the band reunited around 2022, inspired by this renewed interest. Their latest endeavor is the album "Whiplash," released in October 2024, marking their first new music in 19 years, with a deluxe version following in January 2026. bôa has been actively touring in support of "Whiplash," with an extensive schedule of North American, European, and Australian dates planned through 2025 and into June 2026, including their first U.S. festival appearance at Kilby Court Block Party in May 2025 and upcoming shows in Germany and various cities across North America in 2026.
