About the artist

Axwell, born Axel Christofer Hedfors, is a highly influential Swedish DJ, record producer, and remixer, celebrated for his significant contributions to the EDM genres of progressive house and electro house. He is a foundational member of the iconic supergroup Swedish House Mafia, alongside Sebastian Ingrosso and Steve Angello, and also formed the successful duo Axwell Λ Ingrosso with Sebastian Ingrosso. In recent endeavors, Axwell has seen a notable return to solo productions. In May 2025, he released "Until The Lights Go Out," his first original single since 2018's "Nobody Else," a collaboration with the UK duo CARMA. This release also marked a significant moment for his record label, Axtone Records, as it celebrated its 20th anniversary. An early version of "Until The Lights Go Out" was premiered during Axwell's 2024 Ultra Europe set and later became a highlight at his first-ever solo set at Ultra Miami. His project Axwell Λ Ingrosso also announced a revival and performed at Ultra Japan in 2023. As part of Swedish House Mafia, Axwell co-released their long-awaited debut album, *Paradise Again*, in 2022. Looking ahead, Axwell has a busy schedule of performances planned for 2025, with appearances at festivals such as Summer On, Stavernfestivalen, Ruisrock, Tomorrowland (both solo and with Swedish House Mafia), and Amaze Festival.
