Ariel Rot is an acclaimed Argentine musician, guitarist, singer, songwriter, and producer, widely recognized for his significant contributions to rock latino and rock argentino. He rose to prominence as a founding member of two influential Spanish rock bands: Tequila, in the late 1970s and early 80s, and later Los Rodríguez, from 1990 to 1996, alongside Andrés Calamaro. After the dissolution of Los Rodríguez, Rot embarked on a successful solo career, releasing notable albums such as "Hablando solo," "Cenizas en el aire," "Lo siento Frank," and "La Manada". In recent endeavors, Ariel Rot continues to be active in the music scene. He celebrated the 25th anniversary of his solo album "Hablando solo" with a tour, reuniting with the original band that accompanied him during the album's initial presentation concerts in 1998. Rot is also preparing a new solo album. Furthermore, he has announced a new tour for 2025 and 2026, titled "En vivo mucho mejor 2025," promising to revisit his iconic and explosive repertoire. Beyond his musical performances, Rot has engaged with other cultural projects, including his involvement with Cadena Ser's "La Ventana" radio program and as a conductor for TVE's music program "Un País Para Escucharlo," which led to the "Un País Para Escucharlo Live" tour with Kiko Veneno.
