ApolloRed1 is an Atlanta, Georgia-based artist known for his aggressive and energetic rage rap, a microgenre of trap music characterized by distorted synths, pulverizing bass, and mosh-pit energy. A cousin of Playboi Carti, he officially signed as the first artist to Young Vamp Life (YVL), an Opium Records subgroup. ApolloRed1 began making music in 2022 and quickly gained traction with releases like "The Summer I Turned Red" and EPs "Villain" and "Vamp Diary". In March 2025, he released the "Tantrum" EP. More recently, he dropped "Midnight Blassic" in spring/May 2025, which garnered significant attention and co-signs from Carti and other Opium members. ApolloRed1 continued his prolific output with "ApolloRed1 vs. the World" in October 2025, an EP that preluded his upcoming debut mixtape, "Demon Heart Radio". He has also released several singles in 2025, including "NEWBODY", "Rag3r", and "October Nights". ApolloRed1 has performed live, notably during the Antagonist 2.0 Tour at the Golden 1 Center in October 2025. He has also collaborated with other artists and appeared on PlaqueBoyMax's "In The Booth" series.
