JELEEL! (Abdul Jeleel Yussuf), born October 14, 1995, is an American rapper, singer, and record producer from Providence, Rhode Island, of Nigerian descent. He is predominantly known for his high-energy rage rap style, which also incorporates elements of hip hop, trap, hyperpop, punk, R&B, reggae, and Afrobeats. His music is characterized by an energetic vocal delivery, often featuring screaming and shouting, coupled with loud, rock-inspired production and catchy hooks, amplified by heavy bass. JELEEL!'s live performances are notably athletic and include impressive acrobatics like backflips. His career gained significant traction in 2021 with the viral success of his single "Dive In!" on TikTok and other social media platforms, which has since amassed over 125 million streams on Spotify. This led to a partnership with the record label 10K Projects. He released his debut studio album, "REAL RAW!", on May 5, 2023, featuring collaborations with artists such as Denzel Curry, Ty Dolla $ign, and Chow Lee, and this album has garnered over 150 million streams. In 2024, JELEEL! released his album "Xistence" and several singles including "I LOOK GOOD!" in February and "SEE ME NOW!" in March, showcasing his continued presence in the music scene.
