About Acushla

Formed in North London in 2024, Acushla have carve a serrated indie rock sound, equal parts Alvvays, Sonic Youth, Alex G, and The Dubliners. With members hailing in equal parts from both sides of the Irish sea, Acushla channels a wide breath of Anglo-Irish influences into layered yricism and powerful live performances. Their debut EP, recorded in early 2025 at Tilehouse Studios, follows standout sets at venues including The Windmill and The Dublin Castle, establishing them as a sharp presence on the London circuit.
