VK Concerts, part of the 'De Vaartkapoen' community center, is an iconic music venue in Molenbeek, Brussels, with a rich history dating back to the 1980s. It has gained a strong reputation for showcasing emerging bands and artists, and supporting underground music. The venue hosts a diverse range of genres including reggae, dancehall, hip-hop, punk, global music, garage rock, dub, and electronic music. After significant renovations, with a reopening planned for 2023, the concert hall now offers a perfectly equipped club experience with a capacity of 500 visitors, aiming to be a music hotspot in Brussels, Flanders, and Europe. It also functions as a cultural center fostering musical innovation, collaboration, and diversity, and providing opportunities for young talent.
