Subterranean

About the venue

Subterranean is a live music venue and bar in Chicago's Wicker Park, hosting concerts, indie shows, hip-hop open mics, and DJ nights. With a capacity of around 400, it features a bi-level main room with a stage, dance floor, wrap-around balcony, and an original 1889 Tiffany glass chandelier, along with an intimate downstairs lounge. Opened in 1995, the 1880s building previously housed a speakeasy and banquet hall.
