About the venue

Musikkens Hus is one of Scandinavia's most prestigious concert venues, on the Aalborg waterfront in northern Denmark. Designed by architects COOP HIMMELB(L)AU with acoustics by Artec Consultants (Arup), it is home to the Aalborg Symphony Orchestra and hosts around 250 shows a year across all genres — classical, popular music, comedy, talks and more. It offers two main stages plus an outdoor square (~8,000 capacity), and has hosted artists from Placido Domingo, Berliner Philharmoniker and Chicago Symphony Orchestra to Chris Cornell, Gregory Porter, The Script and 50 Cent. Aalborg airport is a 15-minute drive with direct links to Copenhagen, London, Amsterdam and Barcelona.
