Cabaret Voltaire is a city centre nightclub and live music venue situated in the heart of Edinburgh's Old Town. It is part of the cavernous network of the historic Edinburgh Vaults, built deep underneath the city. This subterranean space is known for its intimate, cave-like atmosphere, offering two floors that host a broad mix of techno, underground dance, electronic music, and drum 'n' base club nights throughout the week. It also hosts bands, acoustic gigs, and comedy events, and is an official venue for the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. The main room is equipped with a state-of-the-art D+B sound system and tailored lighting. Upstairs, the Cabaret Café offers a more relaxed, candlelit bar space with comfy booths. It is considered one of Scotland's iconic and historic music venues.
