Dactyl Terra

Emerging from the South Wales Valleys, Dactyl Terra is an experimental space-groove and psychedelic rock band, offering a "laser-beam boogaloo for the celestial earthlings". Their music blends heavy, funky, and psychedelic elements with solid basslines, swirling guitars, and old-school synth sounds. Recent news and endeavors include: * Releasing a new album "Fee Fi Fo Fum" in 2024, described as a psychedelic roller coaster ride. * Playing at festivals such as Focus Wales in 2023 and End of the Road Festival in August 2025. * A BOPFLIX session at Hallets Cider brewery in Wales in March 2024, performing their single "Cheeseburger".

Trans-Siberian Express

Trans-Siberian Express is an artist on Spotify, but it is challenging to provide a concise description of their genre or recent endeavors without more specific information about their musical style. There is a lot of information about the actual Trans-Siberian Railway though. **News and Endeavors:** * **Modernization and Expansion:** There are ongoing efforts to modernize and expand the Trans-Siberian Railway, including potential extensions to North Korea and discussions about connecting to Japan. * **Impact of Geopolitical Situation:** Due to the war in Ukraine, some travel routes and services, including luxury train options, have been suspended and there are travel advisories against taking the Trans-Siberian Railway. * **Freight and Cargo:** The railway continues to be a crucial route for transporting goods, with increasing cargo volume and investments in infrastructure to support this.

Hexcut

Hexcut is a Bristol-based quartet known for blending elements of rock, jazz, and electronic dance music into a unique instrumental sound that defies genre. Their music combines piano, electronics, drums, and bass, drawing influences from artists like GoGo Penguin, High Contrast, and DJ Shadow. They are known for weaving keys-led melodies with winding basslines and technical drums. In recent news, Hexcut released a track called "A Hundred Fires" in November 2024, which has been described as an enthralling journey that builds from delicate piano melodies into a cinematic experience, balancing technical skill with emotional weight.
