Wildernesses Album Release Show!

Gotobeat is excited to team up with Folklore Hoxton to present Wildernesses' album release show on Friday, March 27th, with support from Lost Velvet and World Coda. Wildernesses' debut album Growth will be released via Floodlit Recordings in March 2026. Recorded at No Studio in Manchester with producer Joe Clayton, Growth bridges sweeping post-rock crescendos with finely crafted, reflective passages that linger long after the final notes fade.

Wildernesses - Wildernesses are a London based alternative rock band featuring members of We Never Learned To Live and Earth Moves. Their sound blends shoegaze haze, post rock dynamics and intimate, emotionally driven songwriting. Emerging as modern day narrators cloaked in atmospheric alt-rock, Wildernesses conjure emotive landscapes that feel at once expansive and deeply human. 

Lost Velvet - Lost Velvet is an alternative rock duo based in Reading, UK, blending cinematic post-rock with dark shoegaze textures to craft haunting '90s-tinged dreamscapes. The project is led by multi-instrumentalist and producer Robert Butcher and vocalist Melissa Morris, whose dual vocal interplay and introspective songwriting create an immersive sound that feels both intimate and intense.

World Coda - World Coda is a metalgaze band based in London inspired by worldviews from post-modernist philosophy and psychoanalysis. With influence from by post-metal classics (e.g. Alcest, Deafheaven) and dark heavy pop (e.g. Chelsea Wolfe, early Lana Del Rey), we create a depressive yet erotic dreamscape featuring earworm guitar melodies, ethereal female vocals, and fierce black-metal screams.
