THEANÒ – Germinated in the soils of Greece and Georgia, theanò’s deep connection to her roots is one that has unmistakably shaped her sound. Her quest for truth has guided her sound into what it is today – a unique blend of folk rock with psychedelic and Middle Eastern influences, traversing the lands of her ancestors.
She flaunts her soulful voice over colorful ethereal arrangements, with mesmerizing melodies and thought-provoking lyrics drawing inspiration from nature, stories of everyday life, spirituality and her bucolic upbringing.
LAZY H - Lazy H and the Loose Cables is an electronic jazz trio from London who are exploring new ways of improvisation with electronic instruments.
Their setup features a heavy electronic rhythm section: drum machines, modular synthesisers and AI generative sequences with traditional jazz elements such as the saxophone and Rhodes piano. This combination creates a robust electronic club sound with the looseness and freedom of an improvised jazz ensemble.
The trio have been likened to Floating Points live, Vels Trio and Dorian Concept, however, frequently described as ‘truly original’ (Identification of Music), ‘brilliant and completely unique’ (Next Door Records) and ‘refreshingly genreless’ (Voices Radio) depicting their unique perspective; moving the sound of jazz and improvisation into a whole new space of electronic music.
The trio run a regular electronic jazz Jam night called Headroom with saxophonist Mark Cake and DJ/producer BIDL. It is a collective of electronic, forward-facing jazz musicians, hosting a space for players and singers from all backgrounds to come together and develop this new sound of electronic jazz.
BLINDBUYER - Greek multi-disciplinary artist Konstantinos Malliaris, also known as Blindbuyer, is driven by a profound mission: to express the transformative power of God through music, transcending barriers of religion, culture, and time travel. Inspired by his Greek heritage and a passion for futuristic innovation, he pioneers a groundbreaking fusion of tradition and technology in his album 'APOLYTIKION'—the first-ever Greek spiritual sci-fi experience. He calls his unique genre 'Post-Future Byzantium,' blending Byzantine chants and Greek folk with futuristic ambient synths and orchestral elements reminiscent of Hans Zimmer and Vangelis, alongside vocals inspired by traditional Greek folk singing. More than just an album, 'APOLYTIKION' is evolving into a transmedia project, with a short movie film-style music video and a dedicated film series adaptation in the works. It aims to elevate Greek heritage and Byzantine spirituality to global pop-culture standards, offering listeners an immersive, transformative journey both on stage and on film.
