Surrounded by a rich tapestry of musical influences from a young age, Thea's sound is a blend of jazz, gospel, and hip-hop, with a deep-rooted passion for the soulful vibes of 90s and 00s R&B. Drawing inspiration from legends like Erykah Badu, Brandy, and D’Angelo, alongside contemporary artists such as Jhené Aiko, Kehlani, and Chris Brown, her music resonates with both nostalgia and modernity. Since launching her music career in 2020, Thea has performed at notable events, including Wireless Festival, and gained significant recognition after starring on BBC's "I Kissed a Girl." A pivotal moment came in 2019 when she was invited to perform on stage with R&B artist JVCK JAMES after he noticed her voice in the crowd. This experience ignited her confidence and fueled her ambition to make her mark in the music industry. TÖPIA - Töpia, a UK singer-songwriter, started rocking stages at thirteen. Merging neo-soul influences from Mereba and India Arie with her rock and punk roots, she crafts a unique sound. Her storytelling lyrics have drawn comparisons to Emeli Sande, Frank Ocean, and SZA. "Moving On," her unreleased single, caught BBC Introducing's ear.
