THE UTOPIATES - The Utopiates are back and released the first single from their forthcoming 2nd album ‘Neighbourhood’ after a 6-month hiatus!
London-based rising indie-electronic outfit The Utopiates return with ‘Neighbourhood’. The first single to be taken from the, as-of-yet, unnamed second album set for release in late 2025.
Following on from the recent success of their debut album ‘The Sun Also Rises’(TSAR) (released in May 2023) The Utopiates are out to prove they are one of the most prolific new bands out there at the minute. Signed to V2 Records they’ve spent the first part of 2024 recording and mixing 11 brand new tracks at The Nave in Leeds (Yard Act, Kaiser Chiefs) and are ready to hit the ground running with their outstanding, tour-de-force of a song ‘Neighbourhood’.
Singer, Dan, says of the new song and the 2nd album project as a whole:
‘We’ve always been a band that likes to mix it up and look to loads of different influences in the music we write. Since our inception (in 2021) we’ve been labelled New Wave, Baggy, 90s Revival and even (New) Nu-Rave! But our mantra has always been ‘let’s make people move’ and that won’t change just yet. So, we’re stcking with the ‘big-guitar groove’ label Steve Lamacq once gave us but this tme around we’re looking a litle more in the directon of New York rather than Manchester, while borrowing slightly from our post-punk counterparts in some of the producton.
We chucked the kitchen sink at TSAR. We went all out for that big sound and proved we can nail the psychedelic meandering solos and instrumentals. Josh has nothing else to prove, he’s got the chops! We’re just getng to the point a litle bit quicker now, unlike this press statement!’
Neighbourhood itself is an angry assessment of society’s double standards and what we’ve let ourselves grow used to in the last 15 years or so. We’re asking for a change in attitude, and we think it reflects the mood of the nation right now, 100%.’

Isaac's works have earned him juicy praise, words and things from tastemakers such as BBC's Dean Jackson, Radio X's John Kennedy, Charlie Ashcroft, RGM, Right Chord Music, & more.

EUREKAS - Realising that their combined creative talents led to a magic greater than the sum of its parts, Jack Perrett and Dan Burridge formed Eurekas in October 2021.
You might have seen Eurekas opening up for Wrexham indie heartthrobs The Royston Club on their UK tour. Or perhaps you caught them supporting Reverend and the Makers’ Jon Mcclure on his countrywide acoustic tour. Maybe it was the sold out headline shows in Newport and Cardiff where the band caught your eye. Either way, Eurekas have busily established themselves as ones to watch on the indie scene.
In 2023 debut and sophomore singles ‘Made You Look’ and ‘Ivy’ were well received by a host of highly regarded figures including none other than legendary BBC 6 Music DJ Steve Lamacq. The tracks also garnered international attention, including that of giants of US radio Sirius XM.
Every now and then you hear about the magical moments that encapsulate a band’s early years: raucous gigs, memorable tunes, the earnestness of youthful rock and roll. Eurekas feel as if they’re arriving in style at this exciting juncture. Catch it while you can. This is your lightbulb moment - Eureka! You’ve found what you’ve been looking for.
