The Overjoyed

Formed in Athens, The Overjoyed are a high-energy punk rock band that blend a Bay Area punk aesthetic with an anthemic powerpop sensibility. Since bursting onto the scene in 2011, they’ve released four records, including Boomdoggle, Aced Out, and Pressurepop, earning a reputation for explosive live shows and sharp, hook-heavy songs that caught the attention of festival organizers and opened for bands like Green Day in 2025 and The Offspring in 2024. They’ve toured relentlessly across the UK, Europe, Japan, and they've also shared stages with The Flatliners, GBH, Bad Nerves and lit up festivals like Manchester Punk Festival, Release Athens Festival, Ejekt, Mira Fest and Vive Le Punk Rock. Their new self-titled album is out 20th Feb and this is the moment to catch them.
