Following the release of his debut EP Roots, James is currently writing songs for a second EP and first full length album which he hopes to release in the fall of 2025. In 2021 & 2023, his singles A+  and Work Permit won him the title of Soca Monarch during the CayMAS Monarch competition in the Cayman Islands. He has opened for international artists such as Popcaan & Jermaine Edwards. In addition to being a solo artist, James is the lead singer in Roots Music Group, an eclectic cover band based in the Cayman Islands.
