Shrimp Eyes

South East London’s Shrimp Eyes are a deliciously distinctive catch in the alt-rock scene, serving up a melting pot of bright melodies, hedonistic riffs, and truculent, pulsating basslines. Like a prawn cocktail with an unexpected kick, their vibrant tunes pair perfectly with emotionally vulnerable lyricism, offering droll and poignant musings on the struggles of everyday life. Whether grappling with the pressure to make yourself sound interesting to strangers at parties or wrestling with the guilt of getting stuck in destructive habits, Shrimp Eyes expertly balance raw honesty with their signature sharp melodies. Equal parts tender and tough, they’re proof that even a humble shrimp can pack a punch. Their music has earned them support on 6music, Radio 1, and Radio X from the likes of Steve Lamacq, Jack Saunders, Huw Stephens and John Kennedy. They have also received support from across BBC Introducing in London, 6Music Introducing Mixtape and R1 Introducing. They have also been featured on several editorial DSP playlists including Spotify’s Hot New Bands and Melomania, Apple’s New In Alternative and Deezer’s Freshest Bands Around.

Alexandra Leaving

Driven by a mantra of letting go of what no longer serves you, Alexandra Leaving blends gritty guitars with raw, emotive vocals to carve her unique space in the indie rock world. West Midlands born and now London-based, she draws inspiration from Wolf Alice, Mannequin P and Hayley Williams. Her debut EP An Exorcise in Anger - produced by Michael Smith (Wolf Alice) - gained support from BBC Radio 1’s Introducing Rock Show, BBC 6 Music, Radio X, BBC Introducing London, and KEXP. With her powerhouse band, she’s played The Lexington, Sebright Arms, Paper Dress Vintage, and John Kennedy’s Remedy Night, with recent support slots for Permanent (Joy), The North, and Lizzie Esau.

French Exit

Formed in 2023, French Exit is a four-piece alt-rock band built on the creative partnership of brothers Will and Toby Langston. What began as a songwriting experiment quickly grew into a fully-fledged project, with like-minded musicians joining to shape a sound rooted in sharp songwriting, restless energy and a shared love of live performance. Their first single, Still, marked the beginning of a relationship with BBC Introducing that has carried through to follow-ups Yes and I Don’t Mind, each gaining support on air and culminating in the band’s debut on the BBC Introducing Stage at Sonic Boom Festival 2025, headlined by Everything Everything. Along the way, French Exit have taken their set from the grassroots scene at The Windmill in Brixton to the stage at O2 Academy Islington, earning a reputation for live shows that balance intensity with precision. In the studio, the band has built an ongoing collaboration with producer Roger Andrew Humphrey, whose work has been central in pushing their sound forward. Their visual identity has evolved alongside the music, with artwork by Chris Woodhead (Jamie T, Exlovers) re-energising family archive photography to give each release a distinctive character. Now five singles in, French Exit remain focused on refining their writing and live show, with further dates across London and beyond on the horizon and festival slots already in the works for 2026.
