Inspired by art and literature, alternative fashion and music. Freya distills her disparate influences through a gothic soul and devil-may-care spirit that dares to dream in the darkness. Freya began her musical journey when she released debut single ‘Dear Sweet Rosie’ in November 2019 on her record label Sisterhood Records. The single immediately gained attention from all the right places beginning with a BBC Radio 6 Music live session with Marc Riley in 2020. From then on the only way is up, Beer’s debut album ‘Beast’ was recognised by the British Library and inducted into their British Sound Archive for individuals to study. Festival’s such as the Isle of Wight Festival and Latitude welcomed Freya and her band within the next year and opened doors to sold out headline shows in London and Manchester which soon followed with support slots for Honeyblood and Republica. Most recently Freya made her debut across the pond in New York City where she played a full band headline show at Pete’s Candy Store as well as had an exclusive straight-to-vinyl live recording session at Leesta Vall Sound Recordings in Brooklyn. 2025 brings new releases and headlines shows alongside spoken word performances supporting Dr. John Cooper-Clarke on a number of his dates across the UK including the Co-op Live arena in Manchester. LADY OF MARS - An indie rock band from London that have been gigging hard across the city throughout 2024 including some great summer shows at Festivals including 2000 Trees, Lakefest, Sign Of The Times and The Gathering Sound. They have also opened up for diverse acts like Don Broco and The Damned. Playing their unique mixed gender, multi race, all-inclusive blend of Indie Rock, with dark lyrical twists, exploring themes of mental health, toxic people and coming of age in the 2020s. There’s classic influences of Patti Smith, Stevie Nicks, and The Smiths combined a Twenties’ raw guitar edge, soaring female vocals and an innate love of guitar solos. MANNEQUIN FLOWERS - Mannequin Flowers is a London-based dream pop/shoegaze band blending lush guitars, ethereal vocals, and dark, vintage aesthetics. Inspired by David Lynch’s surrealism, their music explores love, modernity, and social anxieties, creating a hypnotic, otherworldly sound.
