RUNRUMMER - With strong support from Kitsuné Musique, BBC Introducing and the PRS Foundation, Runrummer is an artist on the rise and certainly one to look out for. Over the last three years she has opened the Introducing Stage at Radio 1’s Virtual Big Weekend, charted on iTunes Norway and reached #14 in the Music Week Club Chart. She has played festival stages across France, toured the UK, and been featured on multiple Spotify Editorial playlists including New Music Friday UK, New Pop UK, Alt-Pop, Peach and many more; an impressive track record for a relative newcomer.
Officially tipped by BBC Introducing and Rolling Stone as “one to watch”, she oozes a distinctive form of alt-pop which effortlessly blends indie, rock and electro with waves of nostalgia. Most recently Runrummer been selected as a recipient of the coveted PRS Foundation ‘Women Make Music’ Award; providing funding and support for the release of her debut album ‘Elevator’ targeted for release in 2024.
PHANTOM ISLE - Phantom Isle is composed of childhood friends Peter Marchant (Singer/Guitar), Samuel Thorne (Drums), and Joshua Guy (Synthesisers). Their captivating sound has been making waves on the vibrant London music scene, garnering support from prominent figures such as Jack Saunders of BBC Radio 1, Huw Stephens of BBC 6 Music, and Kerrie Cosh of BBC Northampton, who described them as 'incomparable.' Their unique musical style has earned them opportunities to perform at festivals in France, Germany, and even the prestigious MotoGP 2022.
CHINA ASTER - Described by BBC Introducing as ‘very fresh and new’, synthy alternative pop band China Aster has been compared to MGMT and Perfume Genius, as well as The Smiths and Ultravox – although the band’s varied influences include John Maus, Pet Shop Boys, Sparks and Kylie Minogue. China Aster comprises Joshua Moore and Oliver Marson (who recently released ‘Blue Dreams’). Their last track ‘Post-production’ took a humanist take on video-editing and was supported by Louder Than War (‘single of the month’), Post-Punk, RGM, BBC Introducing and Amazing Radio (Playlist and Amazing Sessions).
