Parachute Words challenges the image of what the traditional indie rock band is. Openly rejecting the testosterone heavy cocksure attitudes of the past, the diverse and line up prominently features the violin while writing songs about insecurity, gender and anxiety.
South of The River is the synthesis of all the band has been working on in the last year or so. The album itself and the songs therein are a love letter to the south London experiences songwriter Martino Gasparrini has had since living there. As with any large city, London is a unique melting pot that effortlessly creates unique experiences and chance happenings. This is something that the group intentionally wanted to recreate by recording the songs quickly and all together in a single moment in time. The album and the band as a whole is a product that only a city can create, with different people from different places coming together to make the music.
