Here, Hitchcock meets the other three members of the increasingly international Paper Anthem lineup: guitarist Noor Harajli (Lebanon—also of NOCT), bassist Carlo Haltrich (Romania), and drummer Joe Spoors (Nottingham), all filmmakers who accidentally fell into the music industry. The fruits of an aggressive recording schedule were finally plucked in December 2023 with the release of their first EP, A Victimless Crime, merely a small taste of what they're planning for 2024 as they continue swimming to the surface of the endless sea of noise that is the London music scene. PARIS BLUE - Creativity is the focus for post-punk band, Paris Blue. They aim to move the listener literally and metaphorically while crafting dancey/quirky alt-rock tracks, resulting in comparisons to bands like Talking Heads and Bloc Party. SPEEDIAL - are a 4 piece alternative band from London. Their sound has been described as "melodic post rock with accompanying saxophone and film band harmonies" MATYAS MORICZ & THE ECHOES - Matyas Moricz & The Echoes is a London-based emerging indie-rock band. Matyas has been a prominent figure in various bands, immersing himself in the vibrant and diverse musical landscape of London. Drawing inspiration from his eclectic musical influences and personal experiences, his songs seamlessly blend infectious melodies with heartfelt lyrics, capturing the essence of indie music with a refreshing twist. Alongside his talented live band, Matyas transforms his introspective songwriting into powerful, atmospheric performances.
