The group, which includes musicians Ben Crane (bass), James Morgan (drums), Grifton Forbes-Amos (trumpet) , and Marco Marotta (saxophone), is known for their electrifying blend of Western jazz and Eastern Asian influences. They've gained recognition for their captivating performances at top London venues and their acclaimed "Late Show" EP in August 2023, which resulted in sold-out shows at Jazz:Refreshed and “Late Late Show” at Ronnie Scott’s jazz lounge, well before hosting their own jam-packed headline gig last December. RUDI CRESWICK - Hey, my name is Rudi Creswick and I’m a bassist, producer and DJ in London. I grew up in Newcastle upon Tyne where music was the centre of everything for me and I dreamed of doing it forever. Since then I’ve been fortunate enough to play for and learn from artists I love and respect such as Tom Misch, Alfa Mist, Loyle Carner, Poppy Ajudha, Puma Blue, Jordan Rakei, Berwyn, Barney artist, Obongjayar, Aaron Taylor and more.
I was immersed in club culture from a young age, the low end sonics of which guided my playing, and led me to discover my style in the years that followed, melding the sub rattling sounds of Hip-Hop producers such as J Dilla, MF Doom and Knxwldge with the technical sensibilities of influential Jazz players such as Pino Palladino, Derrick Hodge and Thundercat.
New single 'Dark Days Are Done' with Ni Maxine out now! NARIAKI - Nariaki is a Japanese musician and artist based in London, renowned for his avant-garde style and beautiful lyricism. Rising with Hikaru Utada's "Tomodachi" in 2016, he later debuted solo with "Lonely One" in 2018. His albums "Piercing" (2019) and "Strides" (2021) have solidified his influence in Japanese alternative R&B.
