This is an ode to the new wave of independent alternative folk present in London and beyond, where the songs' raw energy is alchemised into something vivid and immediate. For this first foray into the depths of London's monochrome soundscape, we introduce: Dylan Gers is a singer/songwriter from Teesside, currently on sly-tone Records, who draws influence from a variety of artists ranging from Nick Drake to Megadeth to Four Tet. Dylan Gers embodies his own style as a cross-genre songwriter. Alex Dover is a finger style guitarist & songwriter from the west-country whose songs weave into a warm wall of sound.
