Luminous celebrates Marlon who Henry's debut album and birthday
Luminous co-founder Marlon who Henry presents his debut album - JOURNEY
This 15 track project boasts a range of genres from Dancehall and Baille Funk, to Techno and Jungle. Produced entirely by Marlon, 'Journey' is inspired by the 5 Rhythms, Ecstatic Dance and conscious movement practices.
This Luminous will be a special event not only celebrating Marlon's 40th birthday, but will also serve as a listening party giving an exclusive premiere of his debut album. The night of music will be hosted in a brand new location, alongside guests DJ Lunechild and DJ Gordon, with our resident DJ Gumbo closing the dance.
Hot food and refreshments will also be served at this extended dance night which will go on until 11pm🥳🎉
Breakdown
6.30-7.30 - DJ Lunechild
7.30-8.40 - Album Listening
8.40-9.30 - DJ Gordon
9.30-11.00 - DJ Gumbo
Dress code
This is more of a dress up affair than our usual Luminous events!
But of course still be comfortable for a little dance.

No footwear (only if needed)

Stay hydrated - BRING BOTTLES (non glass)
Wear comfortable clothes that are easy to move in
Bring instruments if you want to jam (some provided)

Please note: There will also be an option to be featured in a video shoot for Marlon Who Henry's music video.

Refreshments will be available to purchase onsite, including healthy food and drinks.

Marlon who Henry is a genre-bending producer from East London. Taking inspiration from early hip-hop, dancehall, and R&B, he has spent the last 20 years exploring and experimenting with sounds from across the globe to craft beats that evoke emotion and move people.
With a passion for dance and taking inspiration from the conscious movement practices, Marlon blends melodies and baselines from across the globe to take the listener on a creative journey.
