Formed in late 2024, Lucas & Frank are a dynamic DJ duo redefining Afro and melodic house by integrating live saxophone and cello into their sets. Lucas, a classically trained clarinetist turned saxophonist and DJ, joins forces with Frank, whose background in rock and techno informs his energetic cello performances. This intuitive fusion of classical mastery and electronic beats creates a uniquely immersive live experience.
Throughout 2025, the duo expanded their digital presence with the "Sax & Cello" YouTube series, highlighted by their "Summer Afro House Festival Mix" and September’s "Summer Afro House Mix." These sets showcase a seamless blend of Afro, deep, and organic house with melodic tech and funky grooves.
On the global stage, Lucas & Frank debuted at their first festival in Bielefeld in June 2025 and hosted a signature "Summer Afro Pool Mix" event in Galati, Romania. By early 2026, they had transitioned to international residencies at prestigious clubs across Bali, Dubai, and Thailand. Their 2026 tour schedule includes upcoming performances in London, Stockholm, Frankfurt, Sofia, Salzburg, and more. Alongside their touring, the duo continues to release popular "Afro Edits," including their acclaimed reimagining of "Back To Black."
