Born and raised in Colchester, Liam’s childhood saw his parents separate when he was young, and he and his younger sister moved repeatedly, finally settling in Shrewsbury with their mother. It was his grandmother, however, who ignited his passion for music, exposing him to an eclectic mix of styles—from Jilted John to classic folk—that would later shape his genre-blurring sound.

After schoolyard bullying and a restless adolescence, Liam risked everything on a one-way ticket to London with only a ukulele, a handful of original songs, and the last of his savings.
