LAHARA CONNECTION - Initially formed in London over ten years ago between friends at school, Lahara Connection have now evolved into a band of prolific songwriters with guitar music at their core. Consisting of Sam Slaughter, Adam Miller, Troy Cook , and Jack Hewitt, the band explore a sense of hopeful melancholy combined with atmospheric, psychedelic instrumentals. Inspired by a vast range of music from across the globe, Lahara Connection seek to incorporate unique sounds and production styles into their music. Each member of the band equally contributes to the song writing and production of each song. This results in a powerful and interesting end product that seems often familiar on first listen but entirely unique at the same time. Having gigged extensively around London, Hertfordshire and Essex since their adolescent days, the band have developed an exciting live set; leaving their audience captivated by their atmospheric guitar melodies and their instinctively tight rhythm section. FOURMARKS - The London-based four piece band came together with a wild vision of progressive, omni-faceted noise loaded with invective, satire and ideas. Their music – a genre-splicing molotov cocktail of whipsmart electronics, razor-sharp rock dynamics, lysergic pop savvy and provocative lyrical substance– is big enough to carry their complex ideas, and accessible enough to sell them. The London based Singer Songwriter, Producer and Composer draws inspiration from a diverse range of artists including Bon Iver, James Blake, Susanne Sundfør, St Vincent, Kate Bush, Imogen Heap, Bjork, Hot Chip, LCD Sound system, Goldfrapp, Robyn, The Eurythmics, Georgia, and more, ETAN's unique voice and songwriting, coupled with her production skills, reflect a rich blend of influences. Her love for synthesizers, alongside her classical background, contributes to a bold and unfettered approach to harmonies and songwriting. ETAN's music was featured on platforms such as Rolling Stone Magazine, Wonderland Magazine, Earmilk, BBC 6 Music, Amazing Radio, Boogaloo Radio (Frankie Francis) and more.
