With a reflective approach to songwriting, London-based vocalist, multi-instrumentalist, producer, and alternative folk artist James Józef looks to perform an intimate show to announce his debut EP 'Inward' (out on 21/06/24).
James seeks to impart honesty and vulnerability through his music. The 'Inward' EP marks an opening chapter for the artist, as he showcases this new music in an immersive exhibition-style show at Avalon Café on the 20th of June 2024. The evening will be in the round, with film prints from photographer Inigo Blake’s recent Glasgow exhibition “Postcards For Distant Friends” woven in and among the audience. Support coming from fellow alternative folk artist, close friend, and frequent collaborator Rebecca's Jewellery.
A personable approach to audience engagement has led James Józef to sell out shows at The Muddy Puddle (13/01/2024) and The Pickle Factory (26/03/24). He has gained a following from Decca Records and established artists like Jordan Rakei.
