IRINI ARABATZI - Irini Arabatzi is a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, producer and performer. Born in Thessaloniki, Greece, she began her music journey while growing up in Brussels. After performing all around Greece and with some of its most famous artists, she moved to Scotland to continue her education and met with artists like Corto. Alto, Scottish National Jazz Orchestra and Fergus McCreadie.
With a rich background in jazz (Guildhall School of Music) and world music from Brazil to Middle Eastern music, Irini's recent EP "Songs for them" released in June on Albert's Favourites, showcases her unique sound, blending haunting melodies with vibrant beats. Her deeply personal songs weave a tapestry of emotion and groove, offering a fresh perspective on contemporary music. Each track on her EP that was produced with her brother Manolis Arabatzi, offers a deeply personal glimpse into her artistic soul, creating a sonic experience that's both introspective and danceable.Don't miss the chance to experience Irini’s enchanting performances, where her distinctive voice together with her excellent band and eclectic influences come together to create an unforgettable musical journey.
CONNIE ELIZA is an Essex-born singer-songwriter making waves in the UK jazz scene. She effortlessly blends jazz and soul with smooth, mesmerising vocals and infectiously positive, catchy songwriting. Connie is inspired by the likes of Lianne La Havas, Esperanza Spalding, Stevie Wonder and Cleo Sol, along with the soul and disco she was raised on. With support from BBC Introducing, Spotify and Women In Jazz, Connie has recorded at Abbey Road Studios, featured on Spotify's Jazz UK and Fresh Finds Jazz, supported artists such as Sophie Faith, and played in London venues like Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club, Cafe KOKO, O2 Academy Islington and more, firmly securing herself as one to watch this year.
