They fell upon the name after reading a public notice outside an East London rehearsal studio. The message contradicted the experience of their live shows yet felt reminiscent of their teenage years. Their distinct sonic signature contains hints of Radiohead, The Kooks and Joy Division. Introspective, dissonant lyricism, brash commentary and iridescent melodies fighting over rhythmic grunge, means their genre blending tone defies musical classification.
