HotWax
HotWax are a band set on experiencing life at its most intense. In the past two years, the Hastings-via-Brighton trio – comprising Tallulah Sim-Savage (vocals/guitar), Lola Sam (bass), and Alfie Sayers (drums) – have toured extensively, including shows with Royal Blood and Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes, and festival appearances at Reading & Leeds and All Points East. Out of this comes debut album Hot Shock (due March 7 via Marathon Artists), a record of adrenaline-jolted anthems about abandoning fear and leaping towards the future.

HotWax’s debut album follows the release of two critically acclaimed 2023 EPs that launched the touring Hastings trio to ever bigger stages, playing over 150 blistering live shows in the past 18 months alone including Reading + Leeds, Mad Cool, All Points East, Download, support tours with Royal Blood, Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes, Deap Vally and more. It’s the band’s incredible stagecraft and seemingly limitless energy that caught the attention of producer Catherine Marks (Boygenius, Wolf Alice) at Third Man Records’ Blue Basement last summer; “It was the sweatiest gig we have ever done – it was really, really packed,” explains Tallulah “Afterwards, Catherine came up to us and said, ‘Oh my god, I need to record your album with you. I want it to sound like the energy in this room. It needs to feel like a party.’”

The Pill
The Pill is the Isle of Wight’s punk duo, serving up raw, unfiltered chaos since 2019. The two girlies, Lily on guitar, and Lottie on bass whilst sharing vocal duties, know how to turn life’s awkward and absurd moments into riotous, in-your-face anthems. Whether it's the trauma of your scaffolder catching you naked or the tragedy of being blonde, the Pill has got it covered with punchy instrumentals and tongue-in-cheek lyrics that will make even your dad a little uncomfortable.

Described as "a kick in the teeth (in a good way)," The Pill delivers ‘jank’ punk tunes packed with attitude. Their playful, chaotic energy offers a fresh take on the big issues, sprinkled with just the right amount of satire. Get ready for giggles, wiggles, and plenty of fun.

wych elm
Bristol’s three-piece wych elm were formed back in 2017 when Caitlin Elliman and Jack Hitchins were attending college together. Throughout secondary school and college they found themselves sharing mutual interests such listening to Pixies and reading unusual literature.

Together they create an atmosphere of Hitchins' feed-backing squalling guitars, heavy drum fills and punchy bass accompanied by Elliman’s haunting lyrics and howls. They conjure menacing and contemplative grungy indie rock with a touch of the macabre.
